Designed for Broken vessels and capillaries, rosacea and red scars.
How it works The pulse dye laser delivers an intense yet gentle burst of light into selective skin areas.
Predictability Most patients notice beneficial results right away but optimal results appear after two to four sessions.
Discomfort A numbing gel is applied an hour prior to the procedure and if the patient requests, intravenous sedation can also be used. During treatment, the V-Beam® protects the skin with a cooling cryogen mist, sprayed onto the skin to increase patient comfort.
Downtime There is an average downtime of three to 10 days depending on the depth of the treatment. Occasionally purpura, a laser bruise, may occur which usually disappears within three days.
What is the cost of V Beam laser treatment?
This depends on the size of the area being treated. Book a consultation today to find out more about individual pricing.
Are there any side effects of the V Beam laser?
The treated areas may appear darker after the initial bruising heels, however this normally returns to normal after a few months and is uncommon. The gentle bursts of light do not damage the patient’s facial tissue so it is considered a safe procedure.
