Dr. Dana Ihsan is a distinguished Swedish Board-certified Consultant Psychiatrist with over 10 years of experience. Dr. Dana earned his medical degree from the prestigious Umeå University in 2009, and after completing his medical internship at the University Hospital of Umeå, Dr. Dana obtained a license to practice as a Medical Doctor from the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare in 2013. His commitment to the field of mental health and psychiatry led him to embark on a residency program in general adult psychiatry at the University Hospital of Umeå. During this period, Dr. Dana also pursued psychotherapy qualification at the Institute of Clinical Sciences, Umeå University, further enhancing his skills in comprehensive patient care.

In 2020, Dr. Dana was accredited as a Board-certified Specialist in general psychiatry by the Socialstyrelsen- Swedish Board of Health and Welfare. His subsequent roles included serving as a Senior Consultant psychiatrist in the inpatient unit for patients with psychotic disorders, geriatric psychiatry, and affective disorders. He later assumed the position of Senior Consultant at the emergency and assessment psychiatry unit at the University Hospital of Umeå.

Dr. Dana also worked as a Senior Consultant at the Neuropsychiatry outpatient unit where he proved his ability to address complex psychiatric cases. In 2023, he was appointed as the most responsible psychiatrist at the Neuropsychiatry Unit, Affective Disorders Unit, Eating Disorder Unit, Anxiety Disorders Unit, and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder Unit at the University Hospital of Umeå.
