Nefertiti Lift in Dubai

Are you looking for a procedure to reverse the signs of aging along your lower face, jaw, and neck? Nefertiti Lift might be a suitable treatment for you.

Named after the icon of feminine beauty known for her elongated, thin neck, Nefertiti lift is a non-surgical procedure designed to tighten and lift jawline and neck. It involves injecting small amounts of botulinum toxin (Botox) into the vertical neck muscles that run from the bottom of the face to the collarbone and pull down the jawline. Injecting Botox can temporarily block signals from the nervous system causing the neck muscles to contract and the muscles on the lower face to lift the skin properly, resulting in a more defined jawline and rejuvenated neck.

What can Nefertiti lift achieve?

This mini-lift procedure can target different issues affecting the lower part of the face, including:

  • redefine the age-vulnerable neck and jawline
  • Improve the appearance of lines and wrinkles
  • Smooth dimpled skin on the chin
  • Reduce skin folds and sagging
  • Improve the symmetry of the lower face, jaw and neck
  • Reduce the appearance of lines on the neck
  • Improve the appearance of prominent neck bands

Am I a suitable candidate for this procedure?

Due to the minimally invasive nature of this treatment that doesn’t require surgery or anesthetic, many people can benefit from Nefertiti lift with minimal risks. The ideal candidate for this procedure is someone who has a saggy, wrinkly neck area, weak jawline, and loose jowls.

How does the treatment work?

During your consultation, our dermatologist will review your medical history, discuss your concern areas and the expected goals, and explain the treatment options suitable for you.

Once the dermatologist decides that the treatment is suitable for you, they will use a thin needle to inject botulinum toxin into the vertical muscle along your lower face, jaw and neck. Nefertiti lift is an outpatient procedure that offers an effective alternative to surgical procedures. It takes around 15 minutes and requires multiple injections to achieve the desired result. To avoid pain or discomfort, a local anesthetic can be used to numb the treatment area.

What happens after the procedure?

You may notice some side effects right after the treatment similar to those of other cosmetic procedures that involve the use of botulinum toxin, including:

  • Redness and bruising at the injection sites
  • Headache and flu-like symptoms
  • Difficulty swallowing

These side effects are temporary and should wear off in a day or two. In general, the treatment requires no recovery with minimal downtime, which means you can return to work immediately after the treatment, but you should wait for 24 before resuming your usual activities and working out.

It may take about three weeks before you can see the result, as botulinum toxin takes several days to take full effect. The result can last from 3 to 6 months, depending on the dose administered and the strength of the muscle injected.

You can go for maintenance appointments twice a year to help you enjoy the result for longer.
