She applies a wide variety of evidence-based models of intervention, including CBT-E and Family Based Therapy (FBT) to treat eating disorders in children and adults. She provides personalized multistep CBT for obesity, behavioral activation therapy for depression and group therapy for social anxiety.
Dr Alina is also trained in newer treatment models such as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) combined with Iconic Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She applies Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), emotional freedom techniques and trauma releasing exercises. She also regularly undertakes training to keep abreast of current developments in the field.
