Dr. Hasnain Shah is a highly qualified radiologist with extensive experience in interventional radiology and neuroradiology. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology and Political Science from Colgate University in 1992. He then pursued a combined MBA/MD program at the Desautels Faculty of Management and Faculty of Medicine at McGill University, where he received his MD degree in 2000.
Dr. Shah completed his postgraduate training with a surgical internship at Hurley Medical Center in Flint, Michigan. He then completed a residency in radiology at Henry Ford Health System in Detroit, Michigan. During his residency, he completed rotations at MD Anderson Cancer Center and Children’s Hospital of Michigan. He then completed a fellowship in cardiovascular and interventional radiology at Henry Ford Health System, with rotations at MD Anderson Cancer Center, Karmanos Cancer Center, and Children’s Hospital of Michigan. He went on to complete a fellowship in neuroradiology and neurointerventional radiology at the University of Michigan/HFHS System combined program, with rotations at University of Michigan Hospitals and MD Anderson Cancer Center and Mott Children’s Hospital in Ann Arbor.
Dr. Shah is a member of several professional organizations, including the Society for Interventional Radiology, Society for Neurointerventional Surgery, World Federation of Interventional and Therapeutic Neuroradiology, American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians, North American Spine Society, and Society of Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery. He is also a member of the SCA, RSNA, ACR, and SIR.
Dr. Shah’s clinical interests include interventional radiology, neuroradiology, and minimally invasive spine surgery. He is dedicated to providing his patients with the highest level of care and is committed to staying up-to-date on the latest advancements in his field.
