Dr Kris Lewonowski is an American Board-certified orthopedic surgeon with more than 20 years of experience. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Arkansas College of Medicine, completing his internship in surgery – and later in orthopedic surgery – at Los Angeles County & University of Southern California Surgical Medical Center. He has an extensive experience in back and neck pain.

Dr. Kris specializes in complex spine reconstructions and minimally invasive treatment of advanced spine problems, as well as adult degenerative spine problems, spinal stenosis, tumors, spinal diseases, bone deformities, microsurgery, anterior and posterior spine surgeries, and surgeries in the hip and knee joints. He has a fellowship in spinal and joint replacement surgery, and his area of specialization includes radiofrequency ablation, nerve blockage, peridural anesthesia, stem cell therapy, as well as platelet-rich plasma (PRP) injection for joint problems.

Dr Kris is a member of the American Medical Association and earned his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Arkansas College of Medicine, completing his internship in surgery ̶ and later in orthopedic surgery ̶ at the Los Angeles County & University of Southern California Surgical Medical Center.

He held various positions in research, private practice and at clinics in the US and the UK, before moving to the UAE in 2015. He has also held various teaching and education positions.
