Dr Astrid has been trained as a Naturopathic doctor since 2012. She is Board-certified by the British Columbia Naturopathic Association.
She obtained her degree from the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine in New Westminster, Canada. She also has a Master of Science from the University of British Columbia Okanagan in Canada, and a diploma in biology from Carl-von-Ossietzky University in Germany.
Dr Astrid has a particular interest in using naturopathic techniques to treat autoimmune conditions, cancer and endocrine disorders. She is trained to use Helixor® Mistletoe and IV-Mistletoe Therapy for subcutaneous and intravenous cancer therapy. The other treatment modalities she uses include nutraceutical therapy, botanical medicine, nutrition, chelation therapy, Bowen therapy, acupuncture and homeopathy.
She is a member of both the British Columbia Naturopathic Association and the Canadian Association of Naturopathic doctors. She speaks German and English fluently and has a basic level of Spanish.
