Dr. Anne Kristiina Vehmas is a board-certified Neurologist with 15 years of experience in neurology. She worked in the USA working at Johns Hopkins Hospital and University for 5 years focusing on neurodegenerative diseases (especially Alzheimer’s disease). Dr. Anne Kristiina Vehmas has a wide experience with a variety of neurological patients, diagnosing, treating, and rehabilitating them. She initiated a multi-dimensional approach in rehabilitation of brain injuries in 2012 using music, dance, and other senses along with advanced physical therapy. She is especially interested in the prevention of neurodegeneration and rehabilitation after stroke, brain- and spine injuries, multiple sclerosis, and Parkinson’s disease.
She has large experience using Botox® in treating dystonia, spasticity, and migraine.
