Dr Nermeen is a highly qualified ophthalmologist with over 20 years of experience. She earned her medical degree from the Faculty of Medicine at Cairo University, Egypt, and pursued her post-graduate studies where she received a master’s degree followed by a doctorate in ophthalmology. Dr Nermeen worked in a number of reputable hospitals in Dubai, Kuwait and Egypt where she examined and managed patients with different ophthalmological disorders with special attention to glaucoma and diabetic patients, perimetry, Ultrasonography, Fundus fluorescence angiography, Corneal Topography and OCT in addition to Performing YAG and argon laser photocoagulation.
Dr Nermeen has extensive experience in treating a variety of eye disorders using different ophthalmic diagnostic tests and has a special interest in medical retina neuro-ophthalmology, optic nerve disease, diabetic retinopathy, retinal vein occlusion, age-related macular diseases, papillary abnormalities and double vision. and using the recent therapeutic procedures, such as laser photocoagulation and intravitreal injections.
Dr Nermeen has a long academic experience, owing to her work as a lecturer of Ophthalmology in the Faculty of Medicine in Egypt and has several publications on various aspects of ophthalmology which were published in a number of international medical journals.
