Our stem cell therapy is an outpatient procedure performed by a physician and a team of clinical, technical and nursing staff. Patients will be treated with sedation and local anesthesia, so the procedure is virtually painless. A small, 3-4mm incision is made below the navel and a liposuction is performed to harvest the cells. These cells are then incubated, concentrated and selected out for the best fraction of the adipose stem cells to be used in the treatment. If the SVF cells are being injected into the site the total procedure time is approximately 4-5 hours from start to finish.
