Penile Implants for Erectile Dysfunction

Implants, or penile prostheses, are provided in collaboration with surgeons from the Mens Health International Surgical Centre in Switzerland.

A penile implant is a long-standing treatment for erectile dysfunction and provides the highest level of satisfaction for partners and patients of all the available treatment choices. The medical device is indicated for men with organic or treatment-resistance impotence or erectile dysfunction, and it is surgically implanted within the corpora cavernosa of the penis.

There are two main types of implants: inflatable and malleable penile prostheses. Both of these types are custom-fitted, but the main difference is flexible rod implants produce a permanently firm penis, while inflatable prostheses produce a more natural erection.

You might be wondering what sex is like with a prosthesis. Rest assured, that it does not change the sensation of the penis or your ability to reach orgasm or ejaculate. When it is inflated, the prosthesis causes the penis to become rigid or thick, similar to a natural erection.

Satisfaction rates are very high, and around 80%-90% of men are satisfied with the result.
