What is HRV Biofeedback?

HRV biofeedback is a scientifically proven non-invasive method integrating Mind–Body
training procedures to balance Autonomic Nervous System that teaches you to improve your
Heart Rate Variability (HRV)—the natural, beat-to-beat changes in the time between
heartbeats—by using real-time feedback from sensor that monitors your breathing patterns,
stress resistance, general wellness, vitality, emotions, blood pressure and homeostasis.

Here’s how it works:

1. Measurement
o A small sensor (chest strap) records your heartbeat and breathing.
o Software displays your heart-rate pattern and HRV on a screen.

2. Guided breathing & practice
o You’re coached to breathe at a slow, steady “resonant” pace—usually around
4.5–6.5 breaths per minute.
o The goal is to create a smooth, sine-wave-like pattern in your heart rhythm,
called coherence between your Heart & Brain.

Research suggests regular practice helps:

• Reduce stress, anxiety and depression
• Improve vitality, emotional regulation and stress resilience
• Lower Hear rate & Blood pressure
• Support recovery from burnout or chronic pain
• Enhance athletic performance and focus
