Major advances in laser technology have revolutionized their use in the treatment of countless skin conditions. At our Novomed Aesthetic Centers, we have invested in eleven new and renowned lasers to give our team the best technology in order to provide our clients with world-class results.
What is the best laser for skin resurfacing?
CO2 lasers are the most effective and give the best results but require a much longer down time than Erbium lasers. Fractional lasers represent a breakthrough in technology in that they are safer and the skin heals faster. We have the Fraxel Dual® (for rejuvenation and melasma and Fraxel Repair® as a fractional CO2 laser. Skin resurfacing can be painful so we offer local anesthesia with intravenous sedation for patients.
What is the best laser for a photo facial (photo aging)?
Our IPL (Broad Band Laser from Sciton®) and Fraxel Dual® are the best lasers for photo damage. Our Clear + Brilliant® laser is very mild hence no down time, but requires several sessions to achieve results.
What is the best laser for hair removal?
Laser hair-removal works best on dark hair. Diode and Alexandrite lasers are best for lighter skin and ClearScan ND:YAG® is best for use on darker skin.
What is the best laser for vein removal and rosacea?
The pulsed dye V-Beam newest Perfecta model is the best laser for broken capillaries and rosacea.
The discomfort is mild and the procedure is quick, however bruising is significant and may last for one to two weeks.
