Dr. Joseph Bourji is a plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgeon and an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Medicine at Balamand University in Beirut, Lebanon. He is recognized for his patient-centered approach, combining precision, safety, and artistry to deliver results that enhance natural beauty. Dr. Bourji emphasizes minimally invasive procedures whenever possible, ensuring quicker recovery and long-lasting outcomes.
Dr. Bourji completed the Surgical Leadership Program from Harvard Medical School at Harvard University in Boston, Massachusetts. He also holds a Masters in Reconstructive Breast Surgery (MRBS) from the Faculty of Medicine of Universitat Autonoma in Barcelona, Spain. He earned his MD and completed his residency in Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery at the Lebanese University. Following his residency, he pursued a fellowship in body contouring between Brussels and France, where he earned a diploma from Université de Bruxelles. He also underwent specialized training in Miami, USA, which equipped him with advanced techniques in aesthetic and body contouring procedures, further enhancing his international expertise.
Moreover, Dr. Bourji achieved several honors, including graduating as valedictorian with a Summa Cum Laude for his MD degree, ranking first in his residency exam, and being on the honor list for six years of medical school.
Dr. Bourji’s expertise includes a wide range of surgical and non-surgical procedures. His competencies cover medical education, surgical leadership, and research. He specializes in breast surgeries, including augmentation, reduction, and lifts, as well as breast reconstruction and male breast surgery. He is also skilled in facial surgeries like rhinoplasty, facelifts, and eyelid surgery, and in body contouring procedures such as liposuction and abdominoplasty. Dr. Bourji is an advocate for minimally invasive techniques and is proficient in non-invasive body contouring and surgical and non-surgical RF treatments.

Dr. Bourji holds licenses to practice plastic surgery from the Dubai Health Authority and the Lebanese Ministry of Health.
