While Dr Kris is a highly skilled and experienced surgeon, he is also an expert in less invasive technologies. For example, he specializes in orthopedic regenerative medicine, including stem cells and PRP for joint treatment, radio-frequency ablation (RFA) for the spine, as well as nerve blocks and epidurals. This is particularly beneficial for patients who are not medically fit to undergo surgery.

Dr Kris is a member of the American Medical Association and earned his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Arkansas College of Medicine, completing his internship in surgery  ̶  and later in orthopedic surgery  ̶  at the Los Angeles County & University of Southern California Surgical Medical Center.

He held various positions in research, private practice and at clinics in the US and the UK, before moving to the UAE in 2015. He has also held various teaching and education positions.

Dr Kris specializes in complex spine reconstruction, minimally invasive advanced spine disc treatments, adult degenerative spine, stenosis, tumors, disc pathology, deformity, and microsurgery, in addition to anterior and posterior spinal procedures and surgeries of the hip and knee joints. He also specializes in orthopedic regenerative medicine.
