What happens during the wound care home visit?
During the first visit, our team will evaluate your wound/s to determine the treatment plan and the number of visits to clean and dress the wound until it heals.
If your primary care physician or consultant believes a change to the wound care plan is necessary, they can contact us so we can inform the visiting nurse. Once the wound has healed, there will be one final nurse home visit during which you will get aftercare instructions.
