Weaning and Solid-Food Introduction for Babies
Babies are ready to take solid food when they show certain signs, which happens anywhere between 4 and 6 months of age. You will know the time is right if your baby:
- has good head control
- can sit up and lean forward
- can pick up food and tries to put it in his/her mouth
- turns head away to let you know he/she is full
Our dietitians will guide you through the progression of the variety and texture of foods, making it easy for the baby to accept new flavors, and keeping him safe from a high-allergic reaction or unseen contamination.
