What happens during sleep endoscopy?

The pulmonology specialist will then insert a small flexible telescope into one nostril to examine the nose, palate, tongue, and throat and look for potential breathing obstructions. The physician records the entire procedure so that they can thoroughly study it as the patient awakens and recovers.
